Gusar is a large settlement in the north of Azerbaijan that borders the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation, often called the “Northern Gates” due to its geographical location. The majority of the habitats are Lezgins – one of the major ethnic groups in Azerbaijan who speak their own language, follow their own traditions and culture.
