Khinaliq is ancient mountain village that preserves its old traditions and its unique language Ketsh that is absolutely unrelated to Azerbaijani. The stone houses are all clustered next to each other and are located on a steep slope which makes the village very isolated and inaccessible. There aren’t any hotels built in that region to not disturb its atmosphere, however, many families use their homes as Bed & Breakfast that offer overnight accommodation and a traditional meal in the morning.
